I also admit to being overly amused by one aspect of this AU that was only mentioned (I think) once - Teddie ends up freeloading at Kanji's house. Which, I imagine, started with his mom saying (in that meaningful way) what a nice boy he was, only for Kanji to finally get it and start blustering about how it AIN'T LIKE THAT, YOU OLD BAG-
Too bad I had no reason to put that in the fic. XD
